About the role

As part of the Network Operations team, you will play a key role in maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure for our customers. You will help operate and support multiple customer environments running on a variety of enterprise networking technologies.

This is primarily an operations-focused role, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure stable network services, resolve incidents, and continuously improve infrastructure reliability.

Our environments include Fortinet security platforms, Palo Alto firewalls, and traditional enterprise networking technologies such as Cisco and Aruba/HPE. While our data center networking stack is built on Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T, these platforms are primarily operated by a dedicated data center networking team. Basic familiarity with them is beneficial but not required.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex environments, working with customers, and continuously improving network operations.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Operate and support customer network infrastructure in multi-tenant environments

• Troubleshoot network and security incidents across firewall and switching platforms

• Review and implement planned infrastructure changes in production environments

• Perform infrastructure maintenance, lifecycle management, and capacity planning

• Collaborate with design and implementation teams when transitioning solutions into operations

• Support and maintain enterprise firewall platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto)

• Work with traditional networking technologies (routing, switching, segmentation)

• Participate in customer communication during incident resolution and operational activities

• Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and service improvements

What competencies do you bring?

• 5+ years of experience in a network engineering or network operations role

• Strong networking knowledge equivalent to CCNP level

• Experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) or Palo Alto

• Solid understanding of routing and switching fundamentals

• Experience with enterprise networking vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba/HPE

• Basic understanding of data center networking concepts (e.g., Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T) is an advantage

• Interest or experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions is a plus (e.g., FortiNAC or similar)

• Experience working in customer-facing or managed services environments is beneficial

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortinet security ecosystem (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiNAC)

• Familiarity with network automation or scripting for operational tasks

• Experience working in large multi-tenant or service provider environments
