Your Role as a Cloud DevOps Engineer at itm8

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at itm8, you will become an important part of our technical Cloud team, where you will be responsible for our High Reliability cloud-based systems and infrastructure run efficiently and securely and evolve according to customer needs. You will work on everything from monitoring and troubleshooting to automating and scaling systems in the cloud.

Your role will include:

• Ensuring installation and operation of cloud tools and services: Work closely with our other departments on installation, backup, monitoring, and secure operation of the cloud solutions.

• Optimization: Ensure optimal infrastructure operation by monitoring availability, capacity and performance.

• Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve issues with cloud systems to ensure continuous operation.

• Automating processes: Implement automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and system updates.

• Security: Work closely with our Cyber Defence Center department to ensure that systems are protected against attacks and data leaks.

• Scaling: Assess and scale cloud resources up and down to ensure efficient utilization and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaboration with development teams: Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to implement new features and update existing systems.

• Documentation: Writing technical documentation about delivery of itm8 cloud services

• Mentor: Teaching our colleagues within the company about itm8 cloud services and guidelines

Are You Our New Cloud DevOps Operations Engineer?

You have at least 3 years of “hardcore” experience working with DevOps in Azure, and you thrive working both independently and in collaboration with a team. Your technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and your ability to quickly find solutions to technical challenges make you the ideal candidate. You are used to documenting in English and working in a structured manner.

Candidates with Microsoft Certifications, like AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) will be preferred.
